Happy 5th Birthday Collin!

Aunt Laura is home!! Collin was so so excited!!!!!!! Kade was excited also but I think he was a little more excited to see Nana. He is definitely a little Nana's boy!

My friend Kara came home for a visit so I brought the boys out to her parents land. They have a pond and the boys went for a little swim. I started with just letting them wade but that soon turned into letting them get wet and dirty. They both had a super time laughing and splashing around! This will definitely be a great memory for them. When we came home I told James what his "city boys" had been up to, their first dip in a pond!

Aunt April and I took Collin to check out the new pool in town. We played on the playground set that April use to play on as a child. We then found a much newer one that had a very cool obstical course. April helped Collin across and even Mom gave it a try!

Out at Nana and Papa's land. The basement is poured and the roofing lattices delivered. Kade thought the construction sight was his own personal sandbox. Collin and Kade played in the sandbox that Papa made for them and took a break to relax in the hammock.

I signed Collin up for a gym/swim class at the Y. The class was a five week session but he loved his teacher and the class so much he ended up going for three sessions. This is a picture of his class swimming and with his "Coach" Carly.

Progression of our fire. We love having fires with the neighbors and as the night goes on it has become somewhat of a competition to see who can find the weirdest things to burn. In the past the fire has included a house for sale sign and a windmill. Last night it was an old wooden whiskey barrel. I got some pretty cool shots with my new camera.

Memorial Weekend started slow with work, work, work (we got our garage all cleaned out for our garage sale), but finally Sunday night we were able to cut loose! Collin started the fun with a dip in the neighbors hot tub while Kade looked on splashing away.

A robin made its home in our lilac tree for the second year in a row. Collin has enjoyed watching the bird and the nest and asks to check in on them everyday. I can't figure out how to flip the picture of the tree sorry.

Boys and their trucks. Collin, Kade and I were invited to a fun day at the park where the boys were able to get up close to trucks. Collin liked the school bus and the garbage truck and Kade loved the lights of the ambulance.

Collin singing in Church. We had a joint service with the Chinese Christian Church so half the service was done in English and half in Chinese. It was very fun and interesting.

Happy Mother's Day! What a great day I had with my boys! The morning started with presents in bed, stuff for my camera for my endless pictures. We then went to early church service so we could head up to Door County for the day. We spent the day outside playing on the sand dunes, looking at goats on a roof (Collin said that is weird), and going to Peninsula park to play on the playground. All I can say is I couldn't have asked for a better day: spending time with my family and doing things I love!

On Saturday we went to visit Great-Grandma and made a stop at the "Monkey Park" where I use to play many times as a child. It was neat going with my mom to a place she use to take me as a kid now with my kids! Collin got very excited when he saw a fox named Sonic.

Fun on Papa and Nana's land. Collin had the chance to do a little 4-wheeling with Papa and Mom. He loved it and ended up taking 3 rides. Kade sat on the 4-wheeler but stuck with the stroller as his wheels. The ground breaking for the new house starts tomorrow.
