The boys on Christmas morning. We got home late Christmas Eve night after the Olson Christmas party so the boys got to bed around 11:00. We thought that they would sleep in but Collin was so excited about Santa coming he jumped into our bed to wake us up a little before 7.

Making cookies!!!!

Making Christmas cookies. Nana, Aunt April, and Aunt Laura came to the house for the weekend to watch Collin in his Christmas pageant. Saturday night we spent the night making cookies.

Decorating the Christmas tree. This year Collin is so excited about having the house decorated for Christmas. We put the tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving which is a little early for us but the kids are loving having the house all decorated! We even did the outside which we haven't done in the past few years. Everything looks so festive and Collin often asks when Santa is coming!

The kids can not resist playing outside because they have so much room to explore. However it was hunting season and there are woods all around the house so Papa bought all the kids matching orange hats wear while playing outside. We all got a kick of watching the orange hats streaking through the yard.

Thanksgiving at the Stigen's new home. Dad made a wonderful turkey and the family came to help celebrate a first holiday in their new home.We were all nice a cozy with a fire going in the fireplace. We stuffed ourselves full and then played games into the night. We all have a lot to be thankful for!!

What is better then the sound of kids giggling? Kade found the sound of Bard the dragon saying BLAH very funny! This caused Collin to laugh right along with him. I had to get some of it on tape!

Zoo Boo! The boys enjoyed trick-or-treating at the zoo. We went through a hay maze, checked the animals out at night, and of course ate candy!!!

Fall Walk. James, April and I braved the woods to walk up the bluff and check out my parents land markers. They have 22 acres and the climb up the bluff was fun. The views were awesome with all of the fall colors!

We made dinner on the fire. The boys loved the s'mores!!!
