Our annual trip to the Little Farmer was a big success. We got there early enough to eat fresh baked muffins and drink some fresh apple juice. Kade really enjoyed the wagon rides to and from the apple fields and Collin made friends with the farmer who drove the tractor. He even tried to convince the farmer to let him ride on the tractor itself. We had beautiful weather for the trip and now have lots of delicious apples to eat up!

Apple picking. Collin is a picking pro being as this is his 4th trip to the little farmer. This year Kade joined the picking fun! He took many random bites in different apples as we picked. I think they have both eaten an apple a day since this past weekend.

Playing on the huge hay pyramid at the little farmer. Collin was king of the hill and liked to jump down to the level below. He is getting to be such a big boy and likes trying to do dare devil stunts. We have mini heart attacks as he has fun!! Kade stuck with mom and dad. He likes to copy his adventurous brother and we didn't need two jumping boys!

Collin started his first day of school today. I had to wake him out of bed like a teenager!! We made him his favorite breakfast of hard boiled eggs, turkey sausage and Cinnamon toast. His new backpack is about as big as he is but he loves to wear it. He was so brave going into school with his class. He got a little nervous because some kids near him started to cry and kept looking back for us as he walked in the door but he went in very nicely. Mom cried a few tears in the car but at least held it in until then. He had a super first day and said he made lots of friends but can't remember their names. He likes snack too but said, "I would rather have chocolate milk" He is going to have a great year learning lots and having fun!
